New pics of Allegany Rings

Yup..I decided Becca had the name right, so this quilt is now officially named Allegany Rings. Here are a few pics we took of it in the sunlight so you can see it better:





Now, off to get things ready for our trip. Working tomorrow from 9-7, so that doesn't leave any time at all tomorrow night. Catch you later!!

  2. I love the name chosen. It fits beautifully. I agree with you are the designer of the quilt. Most quilts are based on a known quilt block. New and modern quilts are designed but still use hst and such...
    I know this block as crown of thorns also.

  4. Love it. The inner boders/sashing really makes it pop. I might have a go at this one aswell. It should make a huge dent in my scraps pile

  7. Lovely! I did one of these in blue and white a few years ago and it's a great pattern. I really love it your scrappy way...Hmmm. Maybe I'll make another one! Gorgeous!!
