Yup..I decided Becca had the name right, so this quilt is now officially named Allegany Rings. Here are a few pics we took of it in the sunlight so you can see it better:

I love the name chosen. It fits beautifully. I agree with you are the designer of the quilt. Most quilts are based on a known quilt block. New and modern quilts are designed but still use hst and such...
