This is to document my love of and obsession with fabric and quilts! The true, guilty story of buying "just a little bit more", of shopping at thrift stores for the extra large mens shirts to use in your next quilt..and yes..even eyeing up your best friends blouse wondering if she'd notice if you "borrowed" it and just how many 2 inch strips you could get out of it!

This pattern I got off the http://quiltivlle.com site and I LOVE it. The only problem is, I don't know which layout the best! Please take a minute to view the 3 options and leave a comment on which one you like best. Thanks!!
I like number two the best. I'm not sure why...I just do. I really like how you have your blog set up....it looks great. Feel free to put my link on your site if you like....it is http://www.IHaveANotion.blogspot.com
I think I love # 3 but they are all so nice it was hard to choose. Your blog is great so far. I have recently started blogging and love to get comments. If interested please visit http://smileyquilter.blogspot.com and let me know you visited.
Love #1. Great work. I don't have a Janome 6600 I pice my quilts on my brother machine. Then take them to my daughters and we both quilt them on her mid arm HQ16. I too love the idea I can do a quilt start to finish myself and not send it off somewhere to be quilted. Nice Blog Hugs Susan
Hi! I saw your post on Quiltville chat and came over to check out your blog. I definitely like #1 best. Your quilts are beautiful, especially the one made for your sister-in-law.
I seem to be in the minority, but I like the first layout the best. But any of them are nice, so whichever you end up deciding on will be the right choice ;-)
Hello - What a great start to a really intersting blog! I'm a fellow quiltville member and love your quilt pictures! I vote for #1 on this quilt. Have fun! Kathy C in Central Ohio (I couldn't get my ID/URL whatever to work so I'm posting anonymously.)
Oh my goodness! This post reminds me of my mother saying: "ONE CHOICE, that's it, otherwise it's too hard to choose!" Case-n-point!
#3 holds my interest the most; so much 'wavy' motion to it; quite lovely! As many others, #2 is my 2nd-in-line; a subtle "x" motion is created with the layout.
I like number two!
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the blogging world :0).
Happy sewing
That's a hard choice. I think I like number three best. Which ever one you choose will be lovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat start - I think I like #3 best but #2 is running a great second. Good luck with the blog!

I saw your request on the quiltville chat to check your blog out. It looks good!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I also prefer the 3rd set up of the blocks the best and think the 2nd is my next favorite.
Happy quilting!
They are all nice, but I like 1 best.
ReplyDeleteLucky you getting that Janome 6600. My DH knows it's high on my list of wants!
Great start on your blog.
I like them all but if I had to pick one it would be #2
ReplyDeleteI like the second one although they are all great. That pattern is very versitile.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to blogland . Looks good so far.
I love #2. Let us know which one you choose.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is great my vote would be for 3 there is so much motion in it but then it would be 2 and then 1...Hope it helps

2 then 3
ReplyDeleteHello! I like the second one best, though with your lovely color selections any of the three are very nice. --Lisa
ReplyDeleteOption two, it has a "shaded" look that is more interesting than the definite pattern.
ReplyDeleteI like #1. Your blog is nice. Glad you got your Janome. What a wonderful husband!
ReplyDelete#2 gets my vote!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a Janome 6500 and love being able to quilt from start to finish ... all done on my machine by me!

I like the #2 layout and I like your blog.
ReplyDeleteLoretta
You just might have to make 3 quilts!
ReplyDeleteI prefer # 3, but # 1 is great too, and # 2 has its charms.
I LOVE #1 the best - it is striking - but I see you have lots of different opinions going on.
ReplyDeleteVoting... #3 I like the best... then #1 followed by #2.

ReplyDeleteI like #2 best, but #3 is also interesting. Like someone else said; maybe you should make two more quilts like these.
ReplyDeleteNice quilts, btw!
