Quiet night

Quiet night here. I am a tad stressed so my rheumatoid arthritis has been acting up which has led me to take some of my pain killers. They do dull the pain a bit, but they also have the lovely side effects of 1) not letting me sleep and 2) they make me ITCH! Yes, I am allergic to something in some of them. Some pain pills are worse than others for the itch for me, so I have a nice little assortment here. You know I must REALLY be hurting for me to take a pill knowing I will be scratching my skin off for the next 24 hours. Anywho, tonight I am tired from not sleeping the past couple of nights. I worked 9-7 today, made dinner, we watched House (yes, we are all House addicts in this house! lol) and now I am off to bed. I did decide to take the outer triangles off the Trees of Life and replace them with the background fabric..if I can find more of that, that is! Wish me luck on that and hope to have some sewing news tomorrow!

  1. I forgot about your RA and just realized that you having the GO should help make quilting a lot easier for you with cutting. I'm really glad that you won that! :)

  2. Yuk, itching like that will drive you demented! I sure hope you will feel better soon. A quiet night can't hurt, huh!? (And why can't Gregory House find us a cure for such as this!! Bless his heart! LOL) I hope you are able to find all the fabric you need. I think your trees are so pretty!
    Blessings,

  3. if you don't have enough of the background try doing just a narrow border of it to contain the top. you can then FM quilt the lighter triangles.
I am adding the trees to my TO DO as a leader/ender (mine might end up a potholder at the rate I am going!)
    rest up- cw

  5. I hope you feel better soon. Itching is the one thing that really gets to me. You must have been hurting bad. Hope the RA lets up soon. That's why I was so glad you won the GO. Hope you're able to start using it soon.

  6. We love House too... I wish you would call and vent, esp if you cant sleep. I hope the pain eases and you relax and decompress. (after the weekend - right) Big hugs.

  7. Oh Reenie -- sorry to hear about the RA and the issues with pain pills. Your trees of life look great. I can't wait to see how you finish the top. I so want to do that pattern! I am trying to finish a few things before I start something new ... except the mystery this weekend. B.
