Well, we had such a nice visit today! Unfortunately, we had it at my house, so that means constant interruptions so no where near enough sewing got done. I got the Christmas tree skirt cut and the binding machine stitched and will hand stitch it down tonight. I also made a little Christmas table topper that couldn't be any easier.
It starts with these:
Which became snowballs and then this:
They met up with some friends and became this:
Add some little hats and hooks and you get:
Ugh...I HATE when it goes sideways!!!!!!
A nice little Christmas tree ornament table topper.
Here is Shellie hard at work:
She worked on these green log cabin blocks for her Christmas tree skirt:
So, it was a great visit..any time with Shellie is great..but again, I feel bad there were so many interruptions. Well, 3 weeks from now, we will be on a retreat and hopefully getting some projects worked on!!
Looks like a good day, even with interruptions. Love your table topper.
ReplyDeleteI love your table topper. Now that you've shown the steps to making the snowballs I'm tempted to try some. Shelly's log cabin blocks are really pretty. I love the color combination.

ReplyDeleteI would like to start a sewing challenge blog. It would be a weekly themed challenge, you post you link to the theme, and a random person will be chosen to win a little something, something. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, go check out my blog here at Paula's Sewing Challenges. If this isn't for you, sorry for the inconvenience.
Love the table topper!
