Isn't it just wonderful? I fell in love with it the minute I saw it. The fact that there are 8 trees on it makes me love it even more as there are 8 members of my family. I think I will put each persons name on a tree. I love all the patterns in this book and will probably cut out fabric for at least one more tonight.
I am definitely on a HUGE hst binge now so was wondering...is there any interest in doing an hst swap? We could all make a set amount..say 10 per participant, mail them to me and then I could divy them up to everyone. Nice chance to get some new stuff in our hst choices. Just a thought..let me know what you think!!
If there is other interest, I would definitely be interested!! To clarify, would it be 10 per person entered from everyone? Or 1 person would send just 10?
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty quilt (I got to see it in person when Edyta lectured for our guild earlier this year). I am still working on the quilt from my last swap, so I will pass on the HSTs, but hope you get good participation!
ReplyDeleteOoh... a hst swap. What size and any color restrictions? I have been sewing spare triangles together recently cause I want to make a tree of life quilt myself. But, I haven't decided on a pattern yet. Keep me posted on the swap concept. B.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt! Maybe on the swap- a lot depends on the timetable... I may have to wait on a future swap-portunity.
ReplyDeletesure, im in. 10 hst? I like the pattern and why you want to make it. Sounds really nice.
